The UNI-T UT387A wall scanner is a practical and easy-to-use tool that allows you to hurtigt detect live wires, metal and wooden components located in walls. As a result, it significantly reduces the risk of damage to hidden installations during drilling. The UT387A is perfect for do-it-yourselfers, installers and construction crews carrying out repair and installation work.
Accurate detection
The device supports two measurement modes: StudScan for standard depth detection and ThickScan for deeper scanning. In StudScan mode, it locates ferrous and non-ferrous metals and wood to a depth of up to 19 mm, while live wires can be detected up to 50 mm. ThickScan mode extends the detection range of wood and metals to 28.5 mm, providing greater accuracy with thicker walls.
